As a result of a very close coordination maintained between Neil Marine and the Government Health Authorities, on the 12th of last month, the health officials conducted a covid 19 vaccination program where all employees were inoculated with renowned Sinopharm vaccine. This is a confidence boost for every employee keeping in mind that they still have to maintain the guidelines laid out by the health authorities for protection against the virus.
Right from the beginning, special emphasis was given to allocate highest priority to health protocols and all hygienic requirements and social distancing not only at the work place but with the continuous dialogue with the employees exchange their home environments and proper advice and guidelines were/are being given. The corporation from everyone equally was very encouraging.
Since the 2nd vaccine is also due within a month, the management of Neil Marine is in liaison with the area health authorities to have a similar program arranged in order to get our staff and employees inoculated in time.
In this endeavor we hope that every member of the organization will stay safe and healthy during this trying time.
Neil Marine commemorates 50 years, with CSR project at Negombo Base Hospital
Celebrating 50 years of unparalleled quality and service, Neil Marine took the initiative of uplifting the Dengue Ward at the Negombo Base Hospital.
The CSR project, valued at over Rs.800,000, involved in colour washing and installation of proper wire casing for the Ward, erecting a canopy for the vehicle park and landscaping the surroundings. Neil Marine also donated much needed linen to the Hospital.
Director Administration of Neil Marine, Kapila Sumanapala, in his speech stated that the company was extremely happy to have participated in a project of this nature which would benefit patients immensely. Consultant Paediatrician of the Hospital Dr. Lakkumar Fernando presented a memento to Kapila Sumanapala in the absence of Neil Fernando, in appreciation of this project.
